Nigel Farage’s Reform UK raised more funds than rival British political parties, boosted by multi-million-pound donations from cryptocurrency investors.
Nigel Farage’s political party, Reform UK, has once again raised more money than its major British rivals, according to newly released figures from the UK Electoral Commission.
The party secured the highest fundraising total for the third consecutive quarter, largely driven by significant contributions from wealthy cryptocurrency investors.
Financial records showed that Reform UK collected approximately £9.3 million during the first quarter of 2026. In comparison, the governing Labour Party raised around £4 million, while the opposition Conservative Party received donations totaling about £4.2 million.
Among Reform UK’s largest supporters was Christopher Harborne, a British-born cryptocurrency investor based in Thailand, who donated more than £3 million to the party.
Another major contribution came from Ben Delo, co-founder of the cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, who reportedly donated £4 million.
The figures released by the Electoral Commission do not include public funding provided to political parties.
Nigel Farage, known for his leading role in the Brexit movement and his political alliance with former US President Donald Trump, has been working to expand Reform UK’s national presence ahead of the next general election expected in 2029.
Political analysts say the party’s growing fundraising power could strengthen its ability to compete more aggressively against Britain’s traditional major parties in future elections.
Farage has repeatedly stated that he wants to transform Reform UK into a fully established national political force capable of challenging both Labour and the Conservatives across the country.
The growing involvement of cryptocurrency-linked donors in British politics is also drawing attention, with experts noting that digital asset investors are becoming increasingly influential in political fundraising worldwide.
